We are here to help, we can answer any questions you may have.  We can discuss the scope of the damage and help you decide what your next step should be.

We will have an experienced and trained technician come out to the property and inspect the damage.  They will explain the extent of damage and the scope of work needed to repair it.  They can answer questions you may have and address any concerns.

  • If the scope of damages and repairs will be extensive, it may be necessary to file a claim on your Homeowners Insurance Policy.  Insurance Policies can be very confusing and it can be difficult for even a seasoned professional to decipher the policy language to determine coverage’s and deductibles.  We have personnel with years of experience in the insurance field to help you determine your coverage’s and walk you through the claims process.  (Please have a copy of your Homeowners policy available for to review with you.)

Great you have decided to choose us to beautifully restore your home.  We just need to complete the paperwork before we begin.

Before we can begin we will need to collect a down payment for service.  The down payment amount will depend on the scope of damage or the amount of the deductible on your Homeowners Insurance if you have elected to file a claim.  Typically we require 50% of the deductible on Insurance claims and 25% of the total estimate on non insurance repairs.  These amounts are estimates only and can vary, depending on circumstance.  These initial payments will be deducted from the final invoice once work has been completed.

At this point we will be extracting all the water we can through various methods.  These methods include a water extracting vacuum, carpet pad removal, removal of any saturated drywall and or trim boards.  Manipulating furniture to access affected areas as well as packing up any personal property that has to be moved.

  • Dry out  Now that we have removed all of the moisture that we can with extraction, its time to finish drying the structure and contents.  This process will involve the use of Dehumidifiers, Air Movers and other drying equipment.  Once all of the drying equipment is set up it will need to run for typically three days, depending on the severity of the moisture sometimes longer, a technician may need to come by daily to inspect and manipulate the equipment to be sure the structure is being properly dried.

If you have filed a claim at some point during this process you will meet with your assigned Insurance Adjuster, he/she can then inform you of your coverage and how it will affect the water extraction and the build back of the damaged portions of the structure.  We are happy to be present when you meet with your adjuster if you wish, to answer any questions he/she may have.

Once the structure has been completely dried we will remove our equipment and do a final inspection of the dry-out.

  • Now that the structure is dry we can begin putting everything back together.  At this point anything that requires replacement or repair will be completed.   Any Contents needing to put back in place or unpacked will be done.  Once this process is complete you will be ready to enjoy your beautifully home again.

Once we have completed everything we will walk through everything together to make sure you are completely satisfied with our work.  At this time if anything comes up that needs to be addressed it will be put on a final punch list.

Once all of the items on the punch list (if any) have been addressed and you are satisfied with the work.  we will require final payment for the remaining balance.

Unavoidable Inconveniences

FAQThe restoration process can cause temporary (but necessary) unavoidable inconveniences in your home or business. We will work hard to minimize these. However, properly restoring your property is critical to health and safety so quality restoration work is never sacrificed for speed.

The drying process will have some noise. Air movers and dehumidifiers are somewhat noisy as the air is circulated and dried out. Depending on the severity of the damage this can be minimal or longer-term.

When drying a structure, furnishings and carpeting (including pads) are often moved. Drying equipment will be strategically placed with drain hoses going into drains, in sinks, bathtubs, etc.

Restoring your home or business can be an expensive undertaking, depending on the level of damage.  Fortunately, most homeowners insurance policies will cover this type of loss. However, even with insurance coverage there is still typically a deductible that must be met. Discuss these matters with your insurance provider. If you have insurance-related questions we can help as we have experienced personnel with extensive insurance backgrounds to help guide you through this process.

In order to properly dry the structure as quickly as possible our service professionals will come by daily to monitor and reposition equipment to ensure the highest level of effectiveness.

We will work as quickly as possible to restore your property.  However, to properly dry the structure, it does take time.  Typically drying equipment will need to run for at least three days, possibly longer or shorter depending on the severity of the water intrusion to the structure and contents.
